Miguel Marín-Bosch (Mexico City, 1942)
Career diplomat (retired) with degrees in History from Yale (B.A. 1964) and Columbia University (M.A.1967 and Ph.D. 1996). Entered the Mexican Foreign Service in 1969, promoted to Ambassador in 1979 and appointed one of ten Eminent Ambassadors in 1994. Founder and president of Desarmex, an NGO devoted to disarmament and non-proliferation education. Member of the executive council of Pugwash, the International Panel on Fissile Materials and the Latin American and Caribbean Leadership Network for Nuclear Disarmament and Nonproliferation.

Miguel Marín Bosch (México, D.F., 1942)
Diplomático de carrera (jubilado) con títulos en Historia por las universidades de Yale (licenciatura, 1964) y Columbia (maestría, 1967, y doctorado, 1996). Ingresó al Servicio Exterior Mexicano en 1969 y ascendió a embajador en 1979. En 1994 fue nombrado uno de diez embajadores eminentes. Fundador y presidente de DESARMEX. A.C., miembro del consejo ejecutivo de Pugwash, el International Panel on Fissile Materials y la Red de líderes de América Latina y el Caribe por el Desarme Nuclear y la No Proliferación.
